Commissioned in 1992 by the Kingsley Trust Association at Yale University posthumusly depicting A. Bartlett Giamatti in Roman toga similar to his much loved Dante. It is housed in the library of the Skull and Bones, AKA "The Tombs" across from an antique bust of Dante. It was executed first in clay, transposed into plaster and then carved into Carrara marble all by Mr. Sussman.
